US-Based Standing Together Fundraising Lead

Standing Together is the largest Jewish-Palestinian grassroots movement in Israel, with close to 7,000 registered members and grassroots actions across the country. Standing Together fosters solidarity and partnership between Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel through nationwide campaigns and grassroots actions to advance the struggle for peace, equality, social, climate, and economic justice, and an end to the occupation.

About the Position

Standing Together is seeking a US-Based Fundraising Lead to build and grow the organization’s fundraising presence in the United States. This is a new role and a central investment in strengthening Standing Together’s long-term support base among US donors.

The Fundraising Lead will play a formative role in shaping how Standing Together approaches donor engagement, fundraising strategy, and relationship-building in the US. The position combines hands-on donor cultivation with strategic thinking, system-building, and close collaboration with Standing Together’s leadership and development team in Israel.

This role offers significant room for growth and evolution. As fundraising efforts expand, there is potential for the role to grow in scope and responsibility, including the development of additional systems, expanded coordination responsibilities, and potential future management functions.

The position is based in the United States, is primarily remote, and requires regular domestic travel to meet donors across the US.

Responsibilities

Donor Relations & Fundraising

• Build, maintain, and deepen long-term relationships with existing large donors through regular communication, in-person meetings, updates, and stewardship.

• Travel within the United States to meet with donors and prospective large donors, cultivate relationships, and represent Standing Together.

• Identify, cultivate, and solicit prospective donors through personal networks, referrals, events, and strategic outreach.

• Working closely with American Friends of Standing Together solidarity groups, as well as Standing Together in Israel, to network and connect to potential new donors and partners. 

• Support and expand the US donor base in alignment with fundraising goals and organizational priorities.

• Develop fundraising proposals, donor briefings, pitch decks, and written materials for individual donors and foundations, in close coordination with Standing Together’s team in Israel.

• Translate Standing Together’s political analysis, campaign priorities, and financial needs into compelling, donor-facing materials for US audiences.

Coordination of Leadership Visits & Donor Engagement

• Take partial responsibility for Standing Together leadership visits to the United States, with a focus on fundraising-related activities.

• Identify, schedule, and prepare donor and prospect meetings for Standing Together leadership, including background research and briefing materials.

• Support donor salons, small events, and briefings connected to leadership visits, including preparation and follow-up.

CRM & Donor Tracking

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date donor and prospect records in the CRM, including contact details, meeting notes, and follow-up tasks.

• Use CRM data to track donor pipelines, identify engagement opportunities, and support fundraising strategy.

Coordination with Standing Together (Israel)

• Serve as a key fundraising liaison between Standing Together’s leadership and development team in Israel, and US donors and partners.

• Proactively gather campaign updates, financial priorities, and political context to inform US donor engagement.

• Ensure alignment on messaging, donor communications, and fundraising priorities across teams and time zones.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fundraising, development, or donor relations, preferably in a US-based nonprofit context.

• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain long-term donor relationships, including in-person cultivation and solicitation.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing fundraising proposals and donor-facing materials.

• High level of independence, initiative, and comfort building new systems and approaches in a developing role.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in CRM usage and donor follow-up.

• Deep alignment with Standing Together’s values and political commitments, including peace, equality, social justice, and ending the occupation.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically within the United States.

Language Requirements

• Native-level English (written and spoken).

• Familiarity with Hebrew and/or Arabic – an advantage.

Employment Conditions

• Part-time or full-time position (scope to be determined based on candidate availability and organizational needs).

• Start date: March 1, 2026

• US-based, primarily remote, with required domestic travel.
